About Lori

Lori is a well-known journalist across the south of Scotland and Cumbria, where she appeared on-screen as an ITV reporter and presenter for 11 years. Her enthusiasm and passion for rural affairs, tourism, farming and outdoor pursuits comes across in all of her work. She is very well connected across the region and further afield, with key contacts in Edinburgh, Glasgow and the highlands.

Comfortable in front or behind the camera, Lori is a competent reporter, producer, self-shooter and editor, creating content across multimedia platforms for businesses and organisations across Scotland and northern England.

When it comes to hosting and public speaking, Lori ensures that your event is in safe hands. Her ability to thrive when working under pressure means that she approaches her work in a calm and collected manner, whilst exuding a positive attitude. Her ability to settle the nerves of others around her is often reassuring for event organisers and businesses.

Lori enjoys injecting her own personality into the event, by working with organisers to find a way of adding something a little extra to lift the scripting and captivate the audience.

Media Work

Lori has produced numerous half-hour documentaries for ITV, working from the ideas conception stage through to scripting, directing, presenting and voicing the programmes. Her ability to put interviewees at ease allows her to gain the very best from her contributors.

From reporting on the World Rally Championship in Finland for ITV, to interviewing Sir Jackie Stewart at his home in Geneva, Switzerland, Lori ensures that her friendly demeanour and professionalism are lasting impressions for every client.

Working with clients to help them gain positive media exposure is a rewarding part of any media management for Lori. She has successfully gained coverage for clients across multiple television and radio productions, programmes and publications, including BBC, Netflix, ITV, The Daily Record, The Herald, Global Radio, Greatest Hits and Capital FM.

Award Winning

During her time as sole curator of the ITV Border news website and social media accounts, Lori helped to drastically grow the channel’s digital audience through both the website and social media channels. Her forethought in creating a dedicated reporter Facebook profile was the first of its kind within the news organisation, and she was invited to present the concept to all other regions, which was then rolled-out nationally.

Lori won two prestigious ITV Awards for curating the website and for breaking news stories online. She still has a passion for online and social media content today, and is able to help clients to grow their business through developing their online presence and digital engagement.
