Presenting

As a reporter and presenter with more than 11 years of experience working for ITV, Lori is at home in front of the camera. From fronting breaking news stories, to presenting half-hour documentaries, Lori enjoys all aspect of broadcasting.

As an experienced producer/director, Lori is also happy to help produce features for both news and non-news tv programming. Interacting with contributors and ensuring they’re at ease is hugely important to Lori, and her natural, warm and friendly personality always shines through on-screen. Lori’s passionate about reporting on rural affairs and sports, but can turn her hand to any story required.

She has a wealth of experience in working with talent, from the likes of F1 World Champion Sir Jackie Stewart and Joanna Lumley to Prime Ministers and First Ministers.

Production

Lori is able to produce bespoke videos for news and non-news programming, as well as business owners and commercial clients. Videos can be anything from 30 second teasers to long-format features. Some of the popular packages include creating a promotional video for use on digital and social media.

These videos can be incorporated into client’s websites and used on the likes of Facebook and Instagram for PR purposes.

All video work and editing is completed in house, using the latest high quality production equipment and editing software, which includes music for commercial use.

Event Hosting

If you need a friendly, enthusiastic and experienced host for your event, then Lori would be ideal for the job. With clients including South of Scotland Destination Alliance, Business Gateway and South of Scotland Enterprise, Lori has hosted events for crowds between 20-200 people.

Lori can tailor scripts to suit your event/workshop/awards/reception, and enjoys injecting some of her bubbly personality into the proceedings. Lori has performed live hundreds of time throughout her career and is able to do so in a calm and controlled manner, ensuring your event is in safe hands.

Media Training

Lori takes great pleasure from helping businesses feel empowered enough to engage in digital and social media, as well as build connections with local media personnel. She enjoys helping individuals gain confidence when speaking to journalists and during interviews, and hosts media training workshops on a 1-1 and small group basis.

These sessions allow the participants to take part in real-life interview scenarios, which are filmed and tailored to each individual, before being given analysis and general feedback. Clients leave with practical advice and tips to help them use all forms of media to help them to grow.

Voiceovers

As a well-known voice across the south of Scotland and Cumbria, Lori is experienced in lending her voice to suit a huge variety of stories and events. From upbeat promotional marketing work, to more serious issues on health and wellbeing.

Lori is able to record voiceovers remotely in her edit suite, meaning that logistics are not an issue. Her authoritative yet warm Scottish voice is suitable for a wide variety of clients.
